Enjoy The Newport Room’s rich history as the former Germania Hall! Built in 1903, Germania Hall housed German immigrants to work at Sherwood Cutlery (Camillus Cutlery) in the Village of Camillus, NY. In 1909, bowling alleys were added and in 1915 a movie projector was installed. Much of the history is still alive in the building today.
